Birds of Magyr and Svoboda Battalion Destroy Two Grad MLRS in Donetsk Region

Units of the 414th Brigade of Unmanned Systems “Birds of Magyar” and the Svoboda Battalion of the 4th Rapid Response Brigade (1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov”) destroyed two Grad multiple launch rocket systems in the Donetsk region.

The Birds of Magyar Telegram channel published the video of the incident.

The two systems were hit using FPV drones, which were directed straight at the launchers while rockets were still loaded.

As a result, a powerful explosion and intense fire ensued, resulting in the complete destruction of the Grad MLRS.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, MLRS of this type have become the most widely used rocket artillery systems. Due to their intensive use across all sections of the front, these systems have suffered significant losses.

According to estimates by analysts from the Oryx group, total losses due to destruction or damage have exceeded 312 units, the highest figure among all rocket artillery systems.

Militarnyi previously reported that the 426th Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 30th Marine Corps destroyed a BM-21 Grad MLRS at a distance of 55 kilometers from the front line.
