Czechoslovak Group to Supply Air Defense Systems on Tatra Chassis to Unnamed Southeast Asian Country

Czechoslovak Group (CSG) has signed contracts worth nearly $2.5 billion to supply air defense systems to customers in Southeast Asia.

Excalibur International will handle the delivery of multi-layer systems of various ranges, the industrial group told Militarnyi.

The systems will be mounted on Tatra chassis, with deliveries scheduled over the next four to five years.

The agreements include not only equipment but also a full support package, including personnel training, logistics, spare parts, and infrastructure development.

The deal follows earlier projects in Asia, including the MRAD (Medium Range Air Defense) program for medium-range systems. This year, Excalibur Army also signed contracts to supply various versions of Patriot armored vehicles, while the CSG Ammo+ division is fulfilling a contract for small-caliber ammunition.

Given Excalibur International’s specialization and partnerships with global manufacturers, the systems are likely to include Israeli Spyder or Turkish Korkut air defense systems.

Part of the contract may also involve Retia’s own products, including ReGARD radars and anti-drone systems adapted for Asian customers.
