Another Russian serviceman has complained about the unbearable conditions in the frontline in a video address circulated in social media. In the video, the soldier from the 27th division of the Russian army specifically complained about high casualty toll in the army, saying that his entire company has been completely wiped out in just two days. He stated that soldiers are used as a cannon fodder and corpses of killed Russian soldiers are everywhere. Making a video address from a forested area, the soldier complained about commanders who send soldiers to meat grinder despite land mines and heavy shelling by Ukrainians. He said there were a few wounded and most soldiers were dead. There is a growing number of Russian soldiers complaining about dire condition in the frontline and high casualties within the Russian army. Demoralized Russian soldiers regret joining Russia’s war of invasion that started in February 2022. Soldiers also complain about mistreatment by their commanders and shortage of military equipment, food and basic supplies needed in the frontline. Russia has lost approximately one million soldiers – killed or wounded – since Moscow started its full-fledged invasion of Ukraine, according to Ukrainian and UK intelligence reports. Independent research has confirmed by name 150,000 Russian servicemen killed. According to the general Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russia’s daily losses are 1,000.
