European Union ambassadors have provisionally approved a €90-billion loan for Ukraine, along with a new sanctions package against Russia, the Cypriot EU presidency announced on Wednesday. The deal came after Budapest lifted its veto on releasing the funds, with oil flows to Hungary through the Druzhba pipeline also resumed.
