İt became known that Ukrainian partisans had carried out an act of sabotage in the Moscow region : they had burned a Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs police vehicle. As can be seen in the video published on the Telegram channel " Atesh ", the vehicle was first doused with flammable liquid and then set on fire. The partisan movement carried out the operation on December 11, but the publication of the data was timed to coincide with Russian Constitution Day, December 12. The Ukrainian resistance emphasized that the ability to conduct such actions in central Russia, close to Moscow, demonstrates the Kremlin’s lack of control over the situation in the country, and that its silence on the incident demonstrates the regime’s reluctance to address its vulnerability.
Earlier, Agents of the partisan movement Atesh conducted detailed reconnaissance of the Mytishchi Thermal Power Plant, a key energy hub that provides electricity to a number of military and defense facilities in the Moscow region. "It is noted that this Mytishchi Thermal Power Plant plays an important role in supporting the operation of specialized communication hubs and enterprises involved in the Russian military-industrial complex.
Electricity from this station powers the 113th Transmission Radio Center of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, the 59th Arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Central Naval Armament Base, Military Unit 31659, Fourth Central Research Institute of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation, and the A.O. Maksimov Research Institute of Space Systems," the report said. ‘All information has been provided to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for further decisions,’" the partisans emphasized.
Atesh stressed that disabling this station will not cut power to residential areas. The civilian sector is supplied through parallel lines, and strategic circuits are distributed across separate grids. Earlier, a representative of the Ukrainian underground has carried out a successful sabotage operation in Russia’s Moscow region, disrupting communications at several Russian Armed Forces military facilities. The operation reportedly occurred in the village of Mogiltsy, where an agent of the movement destroyed equipment at a transformer substation. This facility provided power and telecommunications support to the region.
According to the underground resistance, disabling the substation caused immediate disruptions in communications at several key military sites. "The disruption of communications and power supply has thrown unit management into chaos, derailing planning and coordination between military sites," the Atesh movement noted. The exact timing of the sabotage was not specified. In recent days, underground fighters from the ATESH movement disabled a transformer substation in Saratov, Russia, which had been supplying critical infrastructure facilities.
