“Our government has really sped up preparations for building the first nuclear power plant. It should be ready in 2036,” said Poland’s Finance and Economy Minister Andrzej Domański, adding that early construction work is already beginning and that billions of złoty, backed by EU funds, are being invested in nuclear energy, renewables, and upgrades to the power grid.
