Widely seen as a necessary ordeal by Polish students, the matura secondary school exit exams began on Monday in Poland. While the exam has a long reputation for keeping students awake at night in nervous anticipation, there’s a new aspect to the testing.
This year and for the first time in the history of the exams, students could pick the Ukrainian language as their exam subject of choice.
