At least two people were killed in Kyiv in a major Russian missile and drone attack overnight into Thursday, according to Ukrainian officials. According to Associated Press the Russian massive combined strike lasted almost ten hours, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. Russia used 18 missiles, including ballistic missiles, and about 400 strike drones, Zelenskyy said. The main target of the attack was the capital Kyiv and Kyiv region, while Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kirovohrad and Kharkiv regions were also under attack. Tymur Tkachenko, the head of the Kyiv Regional Administration, said at least 13 people were injured, and there were fires in at least five other districts at residential buildings, cars, warehouses, office and other non-residential structures.
