Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov on Saturday, January 17 shared a video of his 18-year-old son Adam, a day after media reported that the latter was involved in a serious car crash and placed in intensive care. In a post on his Telegram channel, Kadyrov said Adam has held a meeting with the commanders of the republic’s law enforcement agencies upon his instructions. Kadyrov’s post was accompanied by the video of the government session where Adam addressed commanders. Kadyrov did not mention when the session was held, however, according to independent analysis, the meeting was held on January 15, one day prior to Adam’s hospitalization. State-owned Grozny TV also shared the video of the government session on January 17. The video captures the moment Adam Kadyrov is handed the gold medal "For Merit in Improving the Safety of Nuclear Power Plants". In Kadyrov’s words, the session held by Adam was dedicated to the preparations for the upcoming elections in the Chechen Republic. "During the meeting, Adam Kadyrov drew attention to the need to strengthen cooperation between law enforcement agencies and departments. Ensuring security during the elections in the Chechen Republic is one of the priorities. The situation in the territories of responsibility of law enforcement units from the Chechen Republic, protecting the interests of Russia in the zone of the NWO, was also discussed. Attention was paid to the conditions of service of personnel, as well as the supply of provisions and all necessary technical means to our fighters," Kadyrov wrote in a Telegram post. The Chechen leader also extended gratitude to the military personnel and division commanders for their “loyalty” and “high professionalism”. According to media reports published on Monday that a motorcade consisting of several vehicles transporting Adam Kadyrov collided with an unspecified “obstacle” while driving through Chechen capital Groznyy. Adam has held several senior positions within Chechnya since 2023. His growing role within the government has raised speculations that he is being prepared for future leadership in Chechnya.
