New reconnaissance drone footage reveals Russian military equipment deployed directly next to nuclear reactors at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant – a site that, under international law, should remain strictly demilitarized.
According to Ukraine’s Southern Defense Forces, this is not simply equipment storage. Russian troops are launching drones directly from the facility, using Europe’s largest nuclear power plant as a shield while conducting military operations against Ukrainian regions.
The footage highlights a deliberate tactic: exploiting civilian and critical infrastructure to gain battlefield protection, while increasing the risk of a catastrophic incident.
