Russian Army Receives New Batch of Pantsir-S Systems from High-Precision Systems Holding

The High-Precision Systems holding has delivered a batch of Pantsir-S air defense systems to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the holding’s official Telegram page, the vehicles have successfully completed all required tests, and military inspectors confirmed they are ready for service.

Russia claims that the Pantsir-S can intercept a wide range of modern precision-guided weapons.

The company also stated that the system has allegedly been used to shoot down ATACMS ballistic missiles, Storm Shadow and Flamingo cruise missiles, as well as high-speed HARM anti-radiation missiles and HIMARS guided rockets.

As of today, the Pantsir-S remains one of the enemy’s most effective systems for intercepting drones and missiles. However, Russian efforts to cover all strategic directions are not always successful. According to estimates by the Oryx resource, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have already destroyed or damaged more than 45 of these systems.

Militarnyi previously reported that as of October 2025, Ukraine’s Defense Forces had destroyed 48% of Russia’s Pantsir-S1 air defense systems.
