Drone operators of the 40th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces detected and targeted Russian airborne troops moving by boat on the Dnieper River. As a result of a kamikaze drone strike, the boat was destroyed in an explosion, with only one soldier reportedly surviving. Additional Russian troops who arrived in another boat to assist were also targeted by Ukrainian drones. Although the paratroopers attempted to reach the shore and hide among trees, they were unable to do so and were eliminated by munitions dropped from drones. In total, about 15 Russian soldiers were killed during the operation, and two boats were destroyed.
