Drones of the Security Service of Ukraine struck the airfield where the Shaheeds were stored in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as the Elektropribor plant. This was reported by the SBU.
The Primorsko-Akhtarsk military airfield is located in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation. After Ukrainian drones hit the target, a fire was observed in the area of the facility.
As for the Elektropribor plant, which is located in the city of Penza, it works for the Russian defense industry. After the object was hit, smoke was seen in the area of the explosions.
“This night, SBU drones continued to operate on Russian military facilities behind enemy lines. The first target of the long-range UAVs was the Primorsko-Akhtarsk military airfield in Krasnodar Krai. Here, the storage and launch sites of the Shaheeds, which attack Ukraine, were hit. After the SBU drones arrived, a fire broke out in the area of the airfield. The second target was the Elektropribor plant in Penza, which works for the Russian military-industrial complex. The SBU drones successfully hit the facility; smoke is observed in the area of the explosions”, the SBU reported.
The plant, as stated, produces equipment for digital networks in military control systems, devices for aviation, armored vehicles, ships and spacecraft.
"The SBU will continue to actively work to weaken the military and economic potential of the aggressor country," the SBU emphasized.
Earlier, media reported that long-range SBU drones struck the Radiozavod enterprise, which is part of the Russian state corporation Rostec. It specializes in the production of automatic combat control systems for various branches of the Russian military. Due to its work for the Russian defense industry, the enterprise is under international sanctions. According to the source, at least 11 explosions were recorded during the SBU drone raid, after which a large-scale fire broke out. The plant’s new production complex and warehouses with components were preliminarily damaged.
"The SBU is systematically reducing Russia’s ability to produce products for its army. The summer season of work on high-tech enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex is in full swing," noted an informed source in the SBU.
