A Russian Z-propagandist and a contributor to the "BC 3" channel, currently at the front, acknowledged the enormous losses suffered by assault units at the front. He said that companies of Russian assault aircraft had passed by his combat position over the past year, and "not a single one of them returned." A channel with nearly 20,000 subscribers describes the assaults as a "one-way street." "People almost never return from there. Companies of assault troops marched past our position, and for a year, not a single one of them has returned… And there’s sadness in the eyes of the soldiers… But there are no solutions, and they don’t go to them, and they die, disappearing into the sunset. And thousands profit from their exploits…" the post reads. The author writes that Russian units lack proper logistics: deliveries are mostly made by drone, and vehicles don’t always arrive. Each trip, he says, turns into "Russian roulette" because the drum only contains "four live rounds." Z-Channel also complains that only relatives in the rear remember the fallen, while their "heroic exploits" are used to promote thousands.
At the same time, on television, as the author writes, they continue to show “their deceitful truth.” The post is revealing: the pro-war Z-environment increasingly talks not about an offensive, but about bloody assaults, a lack of logistics, and a command that is incapable of waging a modern war. Now they’re openly writing that assault companies are disappearing without a trace, and that the official picture bears no relation to the reality of the front. Numerous videos from the front confirm the dire picture for the Russian command.
Earlier, Ukrainian Defense Forces counterattacked and drove Russian occupiers from the village of Otradnoye in the Kharkiv region, reclaiming it. The 129th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook. According to the 129th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, assault units, UAV operators, and artillery were deployed to clear the village of Otradnoye in the Dvurechansky district of the Kharkiv region from Russian occupiers. As a result of coordinated actions, Ukrainian forces completely cleared the village of enemy troops and established control over it. They also established control over the surrounding area. In total, 22 square kilometers of the Kharkiv region were liberated from the occupiers. The enemy suffered 56 casualties. The village of Otradnoye is located in the South Slobozhansky direction of the front. In the south, Ukrainian forces launched localized counterattacks near the village of Charivne in the Zaporizhzhia region, while Russian troops have failed to make any recent advances along the southern front. Earlier, reports emerged that for the first time in the last three years of full-scale war, the battlefield initiative appears to be shifting in Ukraine’s favor.
After surviving months of relentless Russian missile and drone attacks on its cities and energy infrastructure, Ukraine is now increasingly imposing costs on Russia across multiple fronts—from battlefield attrition to deep strikes hundreds and even thousands of kilometers behind the front line.
