Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented Friday on the situation in Pokrovsk as Ukraine’s army fights to hold the key eastern city. Zelenskyy said Russia’s goal is to "occupy Pokrovsk as quickly as possible," and that the situation there is "difficult." "There were 220 attacks on Pokrovsk over three days. In response, Ukraine deployed its elite units, launching a special operation last week to counter potential advances.
