Ukraine accused of election interference in Hungary by the country’s FM

Foreign Ministers of Hungary and Ukraine found themselves in a showdown on X over Budapest’s comments on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.

With the internet battle taking place ahead of Hungarian parliamentary elections, Péter Szijjártó went as far as calling Kyiv, a foreign agent of the opposition party Tisza, while his party Fidesz is trailing behind it in the polls.
