Ukraine has mastered the production of rubber tracks for drones, which have already been installed on the DZHANKOI robotic system.
Ukrainian tracks on this UGV from Vyriy were demonstrated at the “Wild Drones” exhibition, which was attended by a Militarnyi correspondent.
It is stated that the key advantage of the DZHANKOI tracks is their self-cleaning function.
The DZHANKOI UGV, which has been under development since 2023, is already in use by units that provide the company with feedback and suggestions for its improvement.
The drone has a payload capacity of up to 500 kg, so reliable tracks are required to support such a weight.

“It is equipped with tracks of our own Ukrainian production,” the company said.
The drone is used for logistics missions, but there are also plans to install a combat module. The maximum claimed range is 42 kilometers.
Rubber tracks consist of a series of segments made from a durable vulcanized rubber compound reinforced with parallel steel threads and polyamide fabric.
They form the basis of an all-wheel-drive chassis, where a contoured belt that adheres to the support rollers is used instead of wheels.

Local production of rubber tracks ensures independence from imports, speeds up delivery, and allows for their adaptation to the real combat conditions of ground drone operations.
This also enables rapid repair and scaling of the equipment without logistical bottlenecks.

Ukraine has mastered the production of various components for UGVs. Currently, Tencore is developing an artificial intelligence module for UGVs that will allow the platform to navigate routes autonomously.
