In April of this year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Tuapse refinery several times, causing significant damage. Some fuel tanks burned for up to five days. Ukrainian drones attacked Tuapse twice, on April 16 and 20. Following the initial strikes, a fire broke out at the sea terminal , and oil products spilled into the river. The fire was extinguished on April 19. That same day, the regional task force reported the spill contained.
