Ukrainian Sea Baby Naval Drones Hit Two Tankers in Black Sea

In the Black Sea, Sea Baby naval drones developed by the Security Service of Ukraine attacked two sanctioned oil tankers of the Russian shadow fleet – KAIRO and VIRAT.

The video was posted by Serhii Sternenko on his Telegram channel.

The operation was carried out jointly by the units of the 13th Main Counterintelligence Directorate of the SSU and the Ukrainian Navy.

According to the Informer online media outlet, modernized Sea Baby naval drones capable of covering long distances and equipped with reinforced warheads were used to perform the task.

Both vessels belong to an illegal logistics network used by Russia to circumvent international sanctions. They were heading empty to the port of Novorossiysk to load oil or petroleum products.

In October, the SSU presented a new generation of Sea Baby surface drones designed for special operations in the Black Sea.
