Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces have captured one Russian soldier and eliminated four others in a raid near the border between the two countries, Ukrainian army reported on Wednesday. The operators were conducting special reconnaissance in a border area when they noticed enemy movement. Rapidly assessing the tactical situation, they launched the raid. After searching the bodies of killed Russian soldiers, the SOF operators conducted an interrogation and radio interception. The video shared in Telegram app shows the operation conducted in a forest lane. It’s unknown in what part of the border and when the operation was carried out. Earlier, Ukraine’s special operations forces reported halting an incursion by a group of Russians in border Sumy region. One Russian soldier was captured by Ukrainian troops while other groups members were killed in the operation. Russia has scaled up attacks on Ukraine’s Sumy and other border regions where it has amassed large number of troops according to media reports.
