The 425th separate "Skala" battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have successfully conducted an operation and seized a large stronghold of the occupying Russian army near the village of "Noviy Put" in Russia’s Kursk region. The stronghold, which had multiple armored vehicles and had been fortified by the invaders for a long time, was surrounded by mined areas and concrete barriers. Ukrainian fighters, primarily advancing in small groups at night using motorcycles, were able to capture the armored vehicles with the help of aerial reconnaissance units. Although additional Russian reinforcements arrived, they were unable to reclaim the lost positions. As a result, the occupiers were forced to abandon the position, losing two battalions of soldiers, with some of the surviving soldiers taken prisoner.
