Drone operators of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, knows as SBS, have destroyed Russia’ s key air defence assets as well as a large number of military targets in operation carried out on the night of May 20. Among the hit targets are an S-300V Radar system, Uragan multiple-launch rocket system, Tor air defense system that are considered to be the backbone of Russia air defences. Video footage released by the SBS features precision strikes on Russian targets. A radar station from an S-300V air defense system and a fuel tanker were struck near the settlement of Shyroka Balka in Donetsk region by the “Kairos” Battalion of the 414th Separate Brigade of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, known as “Madyar’s Birds.” A Russian Tor air defense system and a semi-truck tractor were destroyed near Berestove by Detachment “13” of the 414th Separate Brigade “Madyar’s Birds.” A BM-27 “Uragan” multiple launch rocket system was hit near Zelena Roscha in Chernishivka village in Potlava region by the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces. Apart from air defence systems, Ukrainian drones have also struck Russian military positions. A command and observation post of a Russian unit from the 6th Tank Regiment of the 90th Tank Division was attacked during the operation. In addition, a drone ammunition workshops belonging to Russia’s 150th Motor Rifle Division of the 8th Army were destroyed in Donetsk by the K-2 unit of the 20th Separate Brigade. Separately, a meeting location of the 3rd Motor Rifle Battalion of Russia’s 38th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade of the 35th Army was targeted near Novoukrainka settlement in south of Ukraine by the “Kairos” Battalion and the 1st Separate Center. A command post of a Russian drone reconnaissance unit from the 433rd Motor Rifle Regiment of the 27th Motor Rifle Division was struck near Selydove near embattled Pokrovsk in Donetsk region by the K-2 Brigade. Furthermore, a Russian mobile strike group was destroyed and a Russian logistics targets were hit across Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions by Detachment “13” of “Madyar’s Birds” and the 412th “Nemesis” Brigade. A port crane was destroyed in Berdiansk by the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
