– Hosting some fifty global leaders, the European Political Community Summit in Yerevan became the stage for high-level talks prioritizing the continent’s security and support for Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made an appearance at the event, pushing for more support for Kyiv as the war drags on.
– The U.S. claims it has successfully guided two merchant vessels through the Strait of Hormuz despite Iran firing warning shots at the American navy ships. Europe signals it is ready to secure the flow of goods through the disputed waterway, but only after a diplomatic solution to the conflict between Tehran and Washington is reached.
