Our main stories tonight:
– The conflicts in Ukraine and Iran are growing increasingly interlinked, with Ukrainian drone operators already deployed to the Middle East. Now, Kyiv has sent negotiators to the United States to further deepen that cooperation.
– Hungary’s prime minister Viktor Orbán took center stage at the conservative CPAC summit in Budapest, claiming that his removal from power would be a major victory for progressive forces in Europe. Three weeks to the parliamentary elections in Hungary the ruling Fidesz is trailing the opposition and pro-European Tisza party.
– Tens of thousands of people gathered in the Czech capital, Prague, to protest the government of Andrej Babiš. Apart from accusations of democratic backsliding, demonstrators are concerned with the government’s plans to cut defense spending below the 2% GDP threshold required by NATO.
