LEMONT, Ill. — A three-vehicle crash that killed two people early Sunday morning has shut down all northbound lanes of I-55 just south of Lemont Road in southwest suburban Lemont.
Traffic is being diverted off at I-355, and the ramps from I-355 to northbound I-55 are also closed, according to Illinois State Police.
ISP says troopers responded to the scene around 3:30 a.m. Sunday for a three-vehicle fatal crash. ISP has confirmed two fatalities, and another person was taken to an area hospital with injuries.
