CLEVELAND (WJW) — A driver became trapped in their vehicle after crashing into a fire truck on I-480.
The Cleveland ladder truck was blocking the scene of another crash at the State Road exit ramp when it was struck shortly after 11 p.m. on Thursday.
The driver of the vehicle was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated.
No firefighters were injured. However, the ladder truck was badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene, as seen in the slide show below:
A FOX 8 crew on the scene said the original crash also had people trapped in vehicles.
It’s not clear how many people were transported to the hospital.
