(FOX40.COM) — Multiple people have been transported to a local hospital after a crash involving a Sacramento Regional Transit bus on Sunday afternoon.

The Sacramento Police Department and the Sacramento Fire Department responded to a major vehicle crash at the intersection of Auburn Boulevard and Marconi Circle at around 4:30 p.m.
According to SFD, eight people were injured and four were transported to a local hospital, and out of those four, two people are in critical condition.
Fire officials told FOX40 that the vehicle involved in the crash is a Honda CR-V.
At this time, it is unknown what caused the crash.
