CUMBERLAND, IN – Cumberland Police Department is investigating after a juvenile was critically injured in a shooting early Friday Morning.
According to Cumberland PD, just before 1:10 a.m. officers received a report of a juvenile shot in the 11500 block of Dunshire Drive.
When officers arrived they found a juvenile with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police believe the shooting to be accidental and the Indianapolis Metro Police Department will be assisting in the investigation.
