PELHAM PARKWAY, the Bronx (PIX11) – A 73-year-old man was accused of killing a 77-year-old woman in a domestic incident in the Bronx on Monday, sources told PIX11 News.
Police said Jeffrey Kolin was charged with murder, manslaughter, strangulation and criminal possession of a weapon.
Officers responded to an assault in a house near Barnes and Brady avenues around 7:30 a.m. when they found 77-year-old Marsha Greenberg unconscious and unresponsive, according to authorities. Police said she also had a head injury.
Greenberg was taken to a local hospital where she died, according to authorities.
Police said Kolin and Greenberg lived at the same address.
