MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) — Party goers were left reeling after a night out ended in gunfire outside a nightclub in Midtown, Manhattan, early Saturday morning.
A man wearing a ski mask appeared outside the club on West 46th Street just after 2 a.m. and began firing shots, police said. Sources tell PIX11 News that the suspect targeted a 30-year-old man who was shot in the abdomen after an attempted robbery.
Witness from the nightclub described hearing several shots and then seeing a frantic scene.
The 30-year-old was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive. The shooter was last seen running down West 46th Street, according to authorities.
