RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Officers with the Raleigh Police Department are investigating after a Raleigh citizen called regarding a suspicious item in a driveway Wednesday morning.
Around 8:30 a.m., officers said they responded to the 2100 Block of Banbury Road in reference to a caller who reported a piece of an airplane blocking a driveway.
Law enforcement said they are remaining on the scene until the Federal Aviation Administration arrives to investigate the incident.
A spokesperson with the FAA stated that they are aware of the report and are investigating.
