RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued Friday afternoon for parts of some central North Carolina counties.
At 4:36 p.m., the National Weather Service in Raleigh issued a warning for western Moore County, northwestern Hoke County and southeastern Montgomery County. It is expected to expire at 5:15 p.m.
Around 15 minutes later, another severe thunderstorm warning was issued for southeastern Wake and central Johnston counties. That one is expected to be in effect until 5:30 p.m.
