NEWARK, New Jersey (PIX11) — A 16-year-old girl is in critical condition after being shot in Newark, New Jersey on Friday, according to authorities.
The incident happened around 5:25 p.m. on Huntington Terrace near Lehigh Avenue, police said.
She was rushed to a local hospital for treatment but it was not immediately made clear what led up to the shooting.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the details surrounding the shootings.
