(FOX40.COM) — California Highway Patrol responded to a crash involving a Union Pacific train on Friday afternoon in South Sacramento.

According to officials, the incident happened at the intersection of Desmond Road and Franklin Boulevard at around 2 p.m.
A Union Pacific spokesperson said that a truck pulling a trailer with a vehicle on it was at the crossing when a Union Pacific train went through. The truck fled the scene.
CHP stated to FOX40 that there were no injuries or fatalities.
At this time, Union Pacific is working with law enforcement to investigate what caused this.
