Australian private health insurer Bupa has agreed to repay tens of millions of dollars to members whose hospital claims were wrongly denied.
The company admitted to misleading customers by incorrectly stating they weren’t entitled to benefits.
The ACCC stated that some members had to pay for their own medical treatments, while others opted for pricier policies to ensure coverage.
