A former Greens candidate, injured during an arrest at a pro-Palestinian protest in Sydney’s south-west, has been charged by police.
Hannah Thomas remains in hospital with significant facial injuries after the arrest outside a manufacturing facility on Friday.
Videos show the 35-year-old being dragged away from a group of protesters and falling to the ground with a police officer.
She’s been issued a future court attendance notice for hindering or resisting a police officer and refusing to comply with a direction to disperse.
