Customer’s names, email addresses, phone numbers, birthdates and frequent flyer numbers, have been accessed from a third-party platform. Australia National Cyber Security Coordinator Lieutenant General Michelle McGuinness says there is a significant risk Qantas customers will be target by unsolicited calls and texts from scammers. Qantas has made assurances no personal financial details were taken and has apologised for the data hack.
