Russia’s Vladimir Putin highlighted the importance of "stable and uninterrupted payment channels" at a meeting with the prime ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation countries on Tuesday.
"This is especially relevant in the current volatile economic environment, amid turbulence in global markets, unilateral sanctions, tariff restrictions," Putin said at the Moscow gathering.
According to Associated Press Focusing on political, economic and security cooperation, the SCO is a Eurasian grouping of ten member states.
