Russian opposition leader Gennady Gudkov described in detail the precautionary measures being taken in the Kremlin. It’s very difficult to organize a conspiracy these days due to the high technology we live in, but something similar in Russia is practically impossible, said Gennady Gudkov. Putin is pathologically afraid for his own safety, so he’s taking unprecedented measures to protect himself, organizing surveillance of his inner circle. The politician revealed Putin’s method for escaping the elite conspiracy: "Blocking the internet is for the people, but for those around Putin, strict control is established over everyone: where they went, what they said, who met with whom, who went where, why. I just wanted to give an example. How does the casino system work? They hire the best former cheaters, these casinos, and they watch the hands. They know exactly that in this game the dealer makes seven moves, in that one, twelve, and any oddities immediately attract attention, and they begin to closely monitor this or that person who made unnecessary moves. The same thing is happening now in the Kremlin." "The Kremlin is currently monitoring in exactly the same way: for any unnecessary movements by officials in Putin’s entourage. They’re keeping track of who went where, who met with whom, who celebrated a birthday, who congratulated whom, who sent what to whom, who invited whom where. All of this is now being meticulously analyzed to prevent conspiracy. In my opinion, it’s much more difficult to organize a conspiracy in the world today than it was in any other century, because people are like ‘labeled atoms’: they’re on their phones, they’re online, they move around, and their geolocation is recorded, there are cameras everywhere, and so on," Gudkov shared.
Gudkov answered the question of whether Putin could repeat the fate of Maduro or Khamenei. The politician expressed the opinion that Khamenei had been "sold out" by his own people: " When a huge army stands at your doorstep, what does your inner circle do? They sell you out, sell you out, and haggle. Clearly, there are technical means and resources, but agents are at work. Maduro was sold out by his own people, and Khamenei was sold out by his own. There’s no doubt about it. That’s why, when they fired missiles at him, they knew where, where, in which room, and what he was doing. It was done by people from his inner circle, which is completely obvious, and they took the photo and published it so that no one would doubt that Khamenei had ended his life." Gudkov then added: "This is an indirect signal to Putin. Of course, Moscow won’t be surrounded, and the Navy won’t be stationed somewhere in the Moscow River, or even in the Neva, with Tomahawk cruise missiles and all that. That won’t happen, but a severe military defeat could trigger the collapse and implosion of Putin’s regime ." "I’ll say something specifically for the Kremlin now, if they’re listening. In 2023, there was a serious crisis at the top when Putin’s occupation army fled Ukraine. There was a ‘small breeze’ from the Ukrainian frontlines, but even this ‘breath of wind’ led to their heads cooling off from the propaganda frenzy and they sent their people to Europe and the US for negotiations. Therefore, only a serious military defeat on Ukrainian soil can have serious consequences ," the Russian opposition leader recalled.
