President Trump says the U.S. is making progress in its efforts to end the war in Ukraine, revealing that, quote, “we’re going to maybe have some good news.”
The U.S. president admitted he expected ending the conflict would be easier due to his relationship with President Putin, adding that it is taking longer than thought due to “tremendous hatred” between the Ukrainian and Russian presidents.
