Territories of Donbass that have fallen under Russian occupation face a terrible future. The Kremlin, which has left the region without water, does not care about the suffering of the local population. This was openly admitted by Z-patriot, traitor of Ukraine Tatyana Montyan.
She assured that Russia is not going to eliminate the humanitarian catastrophe in the occupied Donbas. The region, which was completely deprived of water during the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, is awaiting desolation. Most of the population has already left the captured region. Those who have nowhere to run remain to live there. And Moscow does not care about these people. " Where can people run? Those who could, have already run away. They have nowhere to run! What money can people live on? The vast majority have nowhere to run… They are not needed anywhere by anyone! I think with horror about what will happen next, because there is nowhere to get water! There is none at all, absolutely none! People are already buying swamp water… for 1.5-3 rubles per liter. Water is not being delivered, at all, absolutely! And it practically does not flow from the taps anymore. And there is still a month and a half of relative heat ahead. Everything has already dried up! The "authorities" have completely withdrawn from providing water, and no one is talking about it publicly… A dead end. I don’t know what to do about this. What are they waiting for? It is not clear. What are they hoping for? It is not clear… People know for sure that no one cares about their suffering. Even if they start dying there in droves from thirst and dysentery, no one will care… There are no problems after all It’s not as simple as sending inspectors there to talk to people and find out if there is water. It’s not difficult! But for some reason no one is doing this. I don’t know why ," Montyan said. She also noted that official Kremlin propaganda is lying about the real situation in Donbass.
Recall, in Donetsk, which has been without a centralized water supply for several months, the situation is turning into a social catastrophe. People are fighting for water, complaining about Russia’s humiliation and recalling the times when Donbass was fully supplied with water under Ukraine. According to reports from the city, gangs have appeared who drive around in water trucks and pump water directly from installed barrels. People are effectively deprived of even guaranteed access to imported water.
In different areas of Donetsk there has been no water for 2-3 months. Residents are forced to carry bottles from cars that periodically drive up to the yards. Queues often end in fights. For the elderly, this becomes an impossible challenge: carrying water to the upper floors of houses is impossible without help. The video captured the cry of the soul of an elderly woman who speaks about the humiliating life in the occupied city. Even the water that reaches people is often unsuitable. Filters are instantly clogged with dirt and silt, which causes indignation among local residents. Many call what is happening a humiliation into which Russia has driven Donbass.
