The Israeli Defence Ministry said that Israeli forces hit Iran’s internal security headquarters and pledged to continue to strike symbols related to the Iranian government. "Air Force jets have just destroyed the Iranian regime’s internal security headquarters – the main oppression arm of the Iranian dictator," Katz said: "The tornado storm continues to hit Tehran. We will continue to strike symbols of government and hit the Ayatollah regime everywhere,” he went on saying. Earlier, today, the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF, reported that it carried out a series of strikes overnight on military targets in the Tehran area with over 50 fighter jets, guided by precise intelligence from the Military Intelligence Directorate. “As part of the broader effort to damage Iran’s nuclear weapons program, a centrifuge production facility in Tehran was targeted,” the IDF said in a statement. It claimed the facility was used to speed up Iran’s uranium enrichment for nuclear weapons development. In addition, the IDF hit multiple weapons production sites, including a facility producing raw materials and components for surface-to-surface missiles. Manufacturing sites for systems and components used in surface-to-air missiles designed to target aircraft were also hit. Early on Wednesday, Iranian media reported Israeli airstrikes hit two targets: a ballistic missile production facility in Khojir, near Tehran, and Imam Hossein University in eastern Tehran. The Khojir site was previously targeted by Israel in October. Accordig to other reports, Israel targeted an airport belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps near Tehran. According to latest data from the IDF, Iran has launched over 400 ballistic missiles and up to 1,000 drones at Israel since the start of the conflict on Friday. Of these ballstic missiles, 20 struck urban areas in Israel, causing casualties and extensive damage.
