The Defence Forces of Ukraine delivered strikes against Russian troops and their equipment on the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the scale of losses and damage is great. In particular, Ukrainian units struck the Russian materiel and logistical supply depot near Balochky, destroyed or partially destroyed enemy equipment in the Lyubymivka area, and also struck a concentration of Russian forces from the Rubicon Center near Huliaipole. Pro-war bloggers and journalists also warn that the Kremlin’s new moves could further complicate coordination and worsen the situation on the front. The Kremlin denies claims that Telegram is important for the military. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Telegram has no impact on communications at the front. "I don’t think it’s possible to imagine frontline communications being provided via Telegram or any other messenger. It’s difficult, if not impossible, to imagine," said the dictator’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov.
