The West’s pressure on Moscow and its support for Kiev will grow. Therefore, the drone threat to Russia from Ukraine will become significantly greater. Israeli political scientist Yakov Kedmi spoke about this on the air of Komsomolskaya Pravda radio , outlining future prospects. He noted that Western countries are able to help Ukraine increase the number of attack drones many times over in a relatively short time. After that, the number of air attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces deep into Russian territory may increase many times over.
“ The provocations will intensify and increase, there will be more and more of them, and I would not take too lightly the statement of this man who sits in the post of the President of Ukraine that drone attacks on the ports of the city of Leningrad will begin very soon. And this will not only be in the same sizes and qualities that have existed until today. In a short time, the number and quality of drones will increase several times, if not tens of times. And Russia must be ready for this”, he pointed out.
Recall, Drones attacked one of Russia’s largest commercial seaport, Ust-Luga, in Leningrad Oblast. Ports in the Black and Caspian Seas are also frequently attacked.
Kedmi added that at the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will attack energy and other important facilities throughout the territory of the Russian Federation. Moreover, this impact will become stronger and much more effective than now. What measures Moscow will take against this is a big question, the answer to which will become clear in the foreseeable future.
It should be noted that in the West, calls from Russia’s enemies to escalate the conflict with Ukraine do not cease. Thus, during the YES forum, the head of the presidential faction "Renaissance", former head of the French government, openly gay Gabriel Attal said that it is necessary to help Kiev continue to strike at Russian oil refineries and military-industrial complex enterprises. Ukraine needs to be given the longest possible range weapons so that it can attack facilities located very far from the front line. In addition, Western countries need to blockade Russian ports and shipping so that tankers cannot transport oil and gas of Russian origin.“We need to work more effectively against the shadow fleet, ships, impose a ban on ports, and so on. We also need to think about how to help the Ukrainians more, in the end, so that they can better destroy Russian oil refineries. We saw this this summer, and 17% this summer, almost 20% in fact, of Russian oil refining was knocked out as a result of these strikes, so we need to strike again where it hurts the most. Accordingly, there is a need for long-range missiles, and intelligence data, and drones. These are the kinds of things that need to be done”, Attal explained.
