Thanks to the swift and decisive action of patrol officers in Szczecin, a tragedy was averted, and the life of a 16-year-old girl in emotional crisis was saved.
Senior Police Sergeant Michał Krajnik and Police Officer Agnieszka Matulka rushed to a bridge after receiving an alert and found the teenager standing at the railing. When attempts to talk her down failed, the officers intervened without hesitation, pulling her to safety. She was then handed over to paramedics and specialist care.
