Russia is starting the process of mass resettlement of residents from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories, Ukraine’s Center of National Resistance, CNS, has reported. The resettlement of Ukrainian residents is part of the ‘Siberia Development Program‘ for which Russia will allocate 700 billion rubles. The agency reports that Russians have already begun sending letters to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, demanding that local authorities identify “workers for long-term assignments” to the Far East region. Such notices were sent to schools, hospitals, and public utility enterprises. “They are forcing them to include people ‘not burdened by family circumstances’ in the lists – meaning the most vulnerable individuals, those who can be deported quietly,” the Center of National Resistance noted.
