Partisans of the ATESH movement carried out a successful act of sabotage near the village of Uvarovka in the Leninsky District of Crimea, knocking out a relay cabinet on an important section of the railway running across the Kerch Bridge, with the aim of complicating the logistics of the Russian Armed Forces. This was reported by agents of the ATESH partisan movement.
This section of the railway is of great strategic importance for Russian troops, since equipment, fuel and personnel of the Russian Armed Forces are regularly transported through it from Crimea to the south of Ukraine.
Damage to the logistics network has led to a temporary halt in the supply of military equipment to the occupation army.
"Crimea will always be Ukrainian, and the support of Crimeans is the basis of our movement. We will continue to work behind enemy lines, and the earth here will burn under the feet of the occupiers!", the partisans said in a statement.
Participants of the ATESH movement emphasize that such actions will only increase.
Let us recall that media recently published materials about how the strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces frightened the occupation authorities of Crimea, as well as about the Russian Federation’s fears regarding its ships on the peninsula.
The ATESH movement partisans carried out a successful sabotage that caused a temporary halt in the supply of military equipment to the occupation army. Their actions indicate continued resistance to the Russian occupation authorities in Crimea and faith in the return of the peninsula to the Ukrainian flag.
Recall, Ukraine’s Security Service announced it had carried out a new special operation on June 3, marking the third successful attack on the Russian-built Crimean Bridge. The agency said the blast used the equivalent of 1,100 kilograms of TNT, severely damaging the bridge’s underwater pylons at the seabed level and leaving the structure in a “critical” condition. SBU chief Lt. Gen. Vasyl Maliuk personally oversaw and coordinated the operation.
“God loves a trinity — and the SBU always sees its missions through without repeating itself,” Maliuk said. “We previously struck the Crimean Bridge in 2022 and 2023. Today, we continued that tradition — from beneath the water.”
He added that the bridge is a legitimate military target, as Russia has used it as a key logistics artery for moving troops and supplies into occupied Ukrainian territory.
“Crimea is Ukraine. Any symbols of occupation will receive a decisive response,” Maliuk said.
