The contract provides for the purchase of tactical trucks of the same type that the Slovenian Armed Forces received from the German government under the “circular exchange” scheme.

In December 2022, the Slovenian Armed Forces received 40 15-ton military trucks of the LKW 15t mil gl MULTI type, which belong to the HX2 product line. In return, Slovenia handed over 28 M-55S tanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in October 2022.

In June, Slovenia joined the European joint procurement of Caesar self-propelled artillery systems. In total, Slovenia plans to purchase 18 Caesar self-propelled guns, 12 of which are to be delivered by 2028 and the rest by 2030.
