The U.S. will send an additional 5,000 troops to Poland, President Donald Trump said late Thursday. It comes after the Pentagon, in a surprise announcement last week, halted the planned deployment of a brigade of soldiers to the country.
POLAND REACTS TO TRUMP’S ANNOUNCEMENT
Polish President Karol Nawrocki took to social media to thank U.S. President Trump for his decision to send additional American troops to Poland – a decision which the U.S. President attributed to his strong relationship with Nawrocki.

As NATO foreign ministers meet in Sweden, increasing industrial outputs, building up sovereign European capabilities, and supporting Ukraine are at the top of the agenda.
