Ukrainian forces carried out a series of coordinated strikes on April 21 and into the early hours of April 22, targeting key Russian military infrastructure in Crimea Peninsula, Russian territory, and other occupied regions, according to Ukraine’s General Staff. The operation focused on several high-value sites linked to Russia’s military operations. Among the most notable targets was a naval command and traffic coordination facility associated with Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, located in Russian-annexed Crimea. Ukrainian forces also hit drone command centers in Russia’s border Kursk region, along with another unmanned aerial vehicle control point in the Kharkiv region. Additional attacks were directed at a Russian command headquarters in Belgorod region, as well as multiple command and surveillance positions in eastern Donetsk region. Ukrainian officials further reported striking a concentration of Russian troops in the same area. These strikes form part of a broader Ukrainian strategy aimed at degrading Russian military capabilities well beyond the immediate front lines. In related operations on April 21, Ukrainian forces targeted ammunition warehouses, fuel depots, and logistical infrastructure across both occupied territories and within Russia itself. The campaign also included a strike on an oil facility in Tuapse, a significant port on the Black Sea, carried out a day earlier. In a separate confirmed attack, Ukraine launched a missile strike on the Russian city of Taganrog, focusing on a defense-industrial site involved in the production of drones and related components. Ukrainian troops have scaled up a campaign of long-range and precision strikes against Russian military infrastructure, targeting command centers, logistics hubs, and operational assets both along the front line and deep inside Russian-held territory.
